Training for Rolled Lead Working
Röhr + Stolberg GmbH offers up-to-date training for professional Lead Sheet working of roof, wall and chimney flashing. As well as the classic fold and bead joints for lead roofs and façades, particularly alborate details are also covered in the course.
Our training is geared towards plumbers and roofers. All courses contain both a theoretical and a practical element. The emphasis is naturally on practical lead working exercises.
In theoretical section, we teach participants about tool properties, construction characteristics and tool design. In the practical section we include demonstrations and practice of:
- Soldering and welding
- Roof and façade techniques
- Fold and bead joints
- Lead working
- Joints and finishing (e.g. chimney flashing)
These are covered in the 3-day "A" Course.
"L" Course for Schools
The "L" course supports teachers from technical colleges and plumbing and roofing schools in their work. In this course we look particularly closely at the current state of professional regulations.. We make the teaching material available. Participants receive a certificate to show they have received the training.
Guild Meetings
RÖHR + Stolberg GmbH offers professional lectures and practical demonstrations of lead working for guild meetings.
Special "S" Course – Delivered On-Site
The special "S" course is the ideal solution for companies that want on-site training for their staff, or require support for an existing building project. These joint training programs with business have been growing in importance in recent times. Topics covered by the one-day course include: joints and finishing on pitched roofs, folding techniques and lead soldering and welding. Further content is geared to cover current projects, and is planned in consultation. The training can be carried out in a factory, a workshop or other suitable locations.
We will make teaching material (roof model, tools, material etc.) available free.
